About ExactFit Media

ExactFit Media publishes verified-fit and certification checks for replacement water filter parts. Every claim we publish is traced to a public primary source and dated; we do not sell parts and we do not accept payment for placement.

How we verify

We check each part against two types of public record:

Fitment data. We cross-reference manufacturer-published fitment tables to confirm which fridge model accepts which filter. If the manufacturer has not published a fitment table, we do not publish a fitment claim.

Certification scope. We look up each certification against the relevant certifier's public database — for example, NSF International's listings for NSF/ANSI standards. We record the standard covered, the scope of that standard (contaminants tested), and the date we made the check.

We do not conduct laboratory tests of our own. All verification is done against publicly available certifier and manufacturer records, and we record the source URL and check date for every claim.

Why we show no prices

Prices change constantly. A price we publish today may be wrong tomorrow, and an inaccurate price misleads readers. Because we believe our value to readers is in fit accuracy and certification scope — not in pricing — we omit prices entirely. We never rank or recommend parts based on cost.

Editorial responsibility

Content published on ExactFit Media is reviewed and approved by the ExactFit Media Editor before publication. The Editor confirms that all factual claims are traceable to filed source documents, that no prices appear, and that disclosure language is present and adequate.
